Why freeze-dried instead of fresh?
Fresh petals are lovely, but they don't last long and can be slippery under foot and can stain carpets.

Freeze-dried petals look like fresh petals and need less care in use than fresh petals. They can be stored for months before they are needed.
How long does the freeze-drying process take?
It can take up to three weeks between loading the fresh rose heads into the machines and taking the finished product out. During that time the process requires regular checking (and the removal of large quantities of ice!) to ensure best quality.

Store in a cool, dry, dark place. Avoid high temperatures and humidity. A bedroom wardrobe is usually fine. Do not refrigerate or freeze.
